Whether we’re capturing your baby’s last few weeks in mom’s belly, their first 48 hours home, or documenting family milestones, my goal as your photographer is to make sure you have the best experience possible.
Before your photography session, we’ll discuss any questions or concerns you might have.

Whether we’re capturing your baby’s last few weeks in mom’s belly, their first 48 hours home, or documenting family milestones, my goal as your photographer is to make sure you have the best experience possible.
Before your photography session, we’ll discuss any questions or concerns you might have.
Some of the common questions
that clients typically ask me are:
- What should I wear to my outdoor photoshoot?
- Can you come to my home for newborn photos?
- How will the photoshoot go? Should I bring anything?
- Should we do a shoot in our home or outdoors?
- What kind of props should we use?
When we talk, I’ll answer all of these and any other questions you may have.
During a family or newborn photography session with me, I work to make sure you and your kids feel totally comfortable and at ease so that your photos look natural and inspired by your individual personalities. I know that a family photo shoot can be kind of stressful, especially for kids that are more shy or parents who aren’t used to having their photos taken. I’m here to make it easier for you. I want you and your family to have fun and enjoy yourselves.
And newborn or first 48 shoots are never rushed- I will take baby’s lead and make sure that you have time for diaper changes, feeding, and any other needs. That’s just one of the differences you’ll experience with me- I take the time to connect with you, discuss your needs and visions, and work with you during your shoot.
For indoor shoots, I’ll provide studio lighting and backdrops as needed. After the shoot, you’ll receive high resolution digital images which are yours to keep and use in whatever formats you want. Your photos will be perfect for printing on canvas, creating photo books.

About Me
I am a professionally trained photographer, with a bachelor’s degree in fine art and photography from Columbia College Chicago,
and almost 20 years of experience

and almost 20 years of experience

I am not your average mom with a camera. I am constantly upgrading my equipment, testing out new techniques, and pushing the boundaries of my current experience to ensure that my clients have the absolute best family photo experience they can get in Chicago.
After college I managed an upscale children’s photography studio where I photographed professional basketball players, reality tv artists and television anchors. I also spent a few years modeling in front of the camera, and photographing fashion week in Paris and London. These unique experiences allow me to find interesting angles and shots and have helped me understand how to help my clients navigate their own experience
in front of the camera.
I am a mom of three boys who often act as my models when I’m testing out new techniques. I get to enjoy so many happy little moments with them. When I get to find and photograph those little moments for your family, it reminds me of my boys, and that’s why I love what I do!
Outdoor, natural setting photos are also offered. I will bring along small props not to take away from the attention of your little one.
Please feel free to pull aside some important meaningful items of your own to use during your session such as handmade blankets, stuffed animals, fresh flowers, birthday cake or something of your choice. These keepsakes items add an extra special touch.
My goal with your personalized photo sessions is to create meaningful memories that can be displayed and enjoyed for years to come.
All portrait sessions include the high res digital images. Allowing you access to enjoy all your favorite moments captured during the session. Great for prints, photo books, canvas and gifts. I also offer the option for professional lab prints and gifts straight from your gallery.
